Okay, so I don't usually do journals, but they say there's always a first time for everything, and I want to start.
A few days ago, we got to pick out a few options for next year's selective period. We did, and just yesterday, we were told to do so again.
At first I didn't really care. It wasn't until I scanned over the list again, that I realized maybe I cared a little more than I had tought.
Black and White Photography, was one of those new options. I quickly got rid of some sort of statistics class, shoved psychology and yearbook editing down the list, and picked that as my main choice.
I'm really exited about this. We'll be doing some still life, and learn a little critique. So expect to see some black and whites on my gallery soon. Even if the real ones won't be comming until next year, I want to try it over the summer. I have a friend that's really into black and white photography, so I might ask her for some tips.
And I might be getting a new camera this summer.
